On March 20, 2008, the opening ceremony about “Celebration for achievement of agricultural radial tires development & the first products putting into international market” was held at Tianjin United Tire Rubber International Co., Ltd. (TUTRIC).
Through their long-term exploration, independent innovation and development, TUTRIC has developed 85 and 70 series drive wheel radial tires for heavy-duty tractor, of which, there are five sizes (18.4R34、 18.4R38、13.6R28、380／70R24、380／70R28), and also put them into European market successfully.
Although we were a big country in manufacturing & exporting agricultural tires, all the agricultural tires were still the bias tires in low technique & low added value. Nowadays, Agricultural Radial Tires were indispensable to the heavy-duty agricultural machinery, but the skills on designing and manufacturing was monopolized by U.S., France, Japan and other developed countries. We were unable to manufacture them previously. However, this achievement on Agricultural Radial Tire development has filled the domestic gap at once and also completely changed Chinese history that we couldn’t produce agricultural radial tires, so as to improve the product level of our domestic agricultural tires, keep up with the steps of the science & technology development on global tires and increase the associated capacity for the heavy-duty agriculture machinery. Nowadays, we enter the group, which is capable of manufacturing all-series agricultural radial tires.
Heretofore, 18.4R38 tire, the typical product of 85 series agricultural radial tire, which is produced by TUTRIC, has passed the durability test held by European Import Country, strictly in compliance with ECEI06 Standard, and also acquired recognition via customer’s actual outdoor application.
TUTRIC has set up the industrialization production line for agricultural radial tires, which forms a set of integrated procedure and technique on designing & manufacturing, and owns the independent intellectual property rights; some types of agricultural radial tires are beginning to be exported to European market. At present, TUTRIC are developing and improving the product series constantly, and more and more agricultural radial tires will be put into the market, in order to satisfy the demands of customers at home and abroad.
